Evolve-IT have been working with a well-established Edinburgh based Asset Management firm and as part of their continual technology expansion they are looking for Test Analyst to join the Applications and Project Delivery department on a 6-month initial Contract. This role is Edinburgh based and will operate a hybrid working model.
You will be testing systems across a data rich platform and Automating tests using FitNesse testing tool, Specflow Experience is also acceptable. Furthermore, you will be Integrating testing into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines. The successfully Tester will be Working closely with developers and test managers to build out testing capabilities in different areas with automated regression testing. You will engage with various stakeholders to develop, design and execute testing.
Essential Skill/Competencies:
- Agile development practices
- AAA (Arrange, Act, Assert)
- Gherkin/BDD
- Static Testing techniques
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Demonstrable understanding of principles of automated testing
- Automated Testing experience with at least one of:
- FitNesse
- Specflow
- API Testing in .NET environment (C# in Visual Studio)
- API Testing using Postman (including scripting tests n JavaScript test module)
- UI Testing in a .NET environment (C#, Selenium in Visual Studio)
- Test Case Creation
- SQL skills

- Asset Management Background

- Experience in release management in Azure DevOps
- Git Source Control
- Experience in performance testing
- YAML pipelines
