Evolve-IT’s Edinburgh based is currently seeking to recruit a Senior Software Engineer/ Technical Architect who is well versed in XML, JSON and API design technology experience. In this varied role the successful candidate will be contributing to improving the Standards and Governance service offering and creating the blueprints and designs that some of the biggest firms within the pension, investment, and protection markets across the UK work from.
In this role the successful candidate will be involved in the design, development and delivery of technical artifacts, including XML Schema, JSON Schema, OpenAPI definitions and example data structures in XML and JSON; involved in the architectural discussions across technology road maps, existing maintenance work and ongoing improvements in line with customer requirements.
The Ideal candidate will have a combination of Stakeholder management experience, tech design experience (with some of the tech listed below) and ideally within a financial setting – if you have a mix or all three of these attributes then I would like to chat through your CV and any questions you have on the company and role in more detail.
