Evolve IT have been working with an Edinburgh based Financial firm and most recently we have been engaged to find a Senior Software Developer, with Test Driven Development and Test Automation expertise, to join one of their internal continuous improvement teams for an initial 6-month contract.
The team are genuinely one of our favourite clients in Edinburgh when it comes down to company culture, raising the bar on employee satisfaction and they very much appreciate a collaborative personality who can share their expertise and knowledge amongst the wider team. Our previous contractor base say it is unlike any other client they have contracted with and for the right attitude and motivation, contract extensions beyond the initial 6 months are what this client aim for when engaging with the contract market.
Sitting within the continuous improvements team, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing the Test Automation Suite, for the wider teams to run manual and automated test functions for their client facing desktop and web applications. Given the nature of the team, collaborating with end users internally and externally will be the norm and if your previous tech experience aligns with the below, I am keen to hear from you.
Technology Experience:
Our client our looking for long term engagement with contractors, as such the contract has been deemed inside IR35 and I would expect the successful candidate to fall around the £425-£450/day on expectations.
