As a senior software engineer you will be responsible for the design and development of backend systems within the client’s payment processing platforms. Working as part of a dynamic and exciting development centre, you will engage with a variety of languages frameworks, libraries, and services, while using market leading software techniques.

The successful candidate will have the following duties and responsibilities;

• Understanding needs and of merchants and partners as well as assessing problems and expectations. They will be responsible for taking action to address expectations high quality, innovative solutions that deliver value to the customer.
• Improve the software development process and tools through your applied experience and automation.
• Identify essential tasks within projects, help decide on the planning of the projects and ensure timely and accurate communication of status as well as adjusting priorities when appropriate.
• Work with team members to ensure deliverables are accurate and are achieved.
• Assist with software deployment.

The Ideal candidate will have;

• Proven experience in a software Engineering Position.
• BS or MS in Computer Science or related field.
• An understanding of Linux or Windows development.
• Programming skills including, JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Expertise in at least one OO language e.g. Java, C#, Ruby, Go.
• Experience in server-side product development.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
• Excels at grasping existing code and identifying opportunities to improve and to integrate with existing code.
• This role is fully remote; however, the candidate must be based in UK, Ireland or Europe. The successful candidate will receive £60-70K plus 6% bonus or €70-80K (depending on location) plus 6% as well as unlimited holidays and other benefits!
