Evolve IT's award-winning financial services client are looking for a strong Infrastructure Engineer to join their Glasgow office on a permanent basis. This role will work as part of a close-knit team who work across the organisation's on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure. They are now looking to add a Subject-Matter-Expert in the MS O365 space who can bring their expertise and knowledge of the platform to help them improve and develop the offering across the company.
You will be an expert across Teams, Exchange, SharePoint and all the usual suspects in O365 and will have a real passion for supporting and implementing these technologies and will have particular depth of knowledge in identity and platform areas. Experience in automation would be highly advantageous. As part of the infrastructure team you will be heavily involved in major projects coming online soon and will have a split between BAU and project work.
The successful Senior Infrastructure Engineer will have the following technical skills and experience:
• Subject matter expert in the Microsoft 365 platform.
• Technical expertise in supporting Windows Operating Systems, both server and client.
• Strong troubleshooting skills within a hybrid environment
- Automation skills using PowerShell.
• Technical expertise in Active Directory administration and support. (desirable)
• Experience of administering Microsoft Azure. (desirable)
Financial services experience is NOT a requirement so this really represents a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to get that FS badge on their CV. Our client are looking for passionate technologists who know what they are doing and who are keen to continuously learn and improve their skillset.
In return our client are offering a salary of up to £55,000 per annum plus an award winning benefits package with bonus and profit share. They are based in Central Glasgow with hybrid working actively encouraged.
