Our client, a prominent Financial Services consultancy, is looking for an experienced Senior Developer to join their data platforms team. This team supports a wide array of vital business initiatives. The ideal candidate will take pride in writing clean, maintainable code and delivering high-quality outcomes for a successful business.
This hybrid role is based in either Edinburgh or Glasgow, with two or three days per week required in the office. You'll have the opportunity to help design and deliver innovative platforms and systems that support enterprise-level, data-driven decision-making.

- Redevelop existing systems through reverse engineering and redesign for Azure.

Key requirements:
- Strong track record in designing and building C# .NET applications driven by data.
- Experience working with various data sources, such as SQL databases, MongoDB, and CosmosDB.
- Skilled in handling time series and numeric data with a strong focus on maintaining data integrity. (SQL, NoSQL Parquet)
- Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Ideally, you’ll have some experience with BI tools like Power BI, and some exposure to R or Python.
