Senior Cyber Engineer

£55,000–£60,000 + bonus + benefits
You’ll take charge of enterprise-wide cyber security operations, while helping to shape the future of a critical M365 environment.
Working directly with the Cyber Lead and Network & Security Manager, you’ll have the ability to influence decision-making at the highest level. This is your chance to step into a high-impact position where your expertise will drive real change across the business.
As an E5 customer looking to unlock the full potential of the M365 suite, there’s a clear focus on enhancing email security, data protection, and VPN solutions. You’ll lead these initiatives, working with modern tools and technologies in a DevOps and Agile/Scrum environment.
With extensive training available, you’ll sharpen your skills across a broad spectrum of cyber disciplines, from vulnerability management (Rapid7) to cloud security and automation. You’ll also have the flexibility to work from home up to three days per week and enjoy a 35-hour week with core hours between 7am and 7pm.
What you’ll do
- Deliver Cyber support across a wide range of issues and projects, shaping the organisation’s security posture
- Act as the subject matter (DLP, VPN, DNS & M365) expert on multi-discipline projects, providing guidance and oversight
- Design and implement technical solutions to enhance security across the M365 suite, VPN, and email platforms
- Research and recommend new security tools and solutions to keep the business ahead of emerging threats
- Mentor junior team members and share knowledge to build a stronger, more capable team
- Drive automation and efficiency improvements to streamline security operations
What you’ll need
- Strong experience in vulnerability management, ideally using Rapid7
- Hands-on knowledge of M365, email security, VPN, and DLP solutions like Netskope
- Broad cyber security expertise across infrastructure, cloud, and DevOps
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders
