Senior Business Analyst - Edinburgh - Edinburgh

Evolve-IT is working with a fantastic client in the banking arena who specialise in customer and client delivery. They are a close not team looking to expand operations over the coming months and as such are looking to add to their team with likeminded personable business Analysts to work on a number of change projects over the coming years.

As the company is expanding, the team are looking to bring in an experienced Business Analyst who can help analyse the current estate and what is needed to handle the increase in head count over the coming years alongside what technologies the team need to have in place to handle the strategic growth objectives. As this is a boutique client compared to the majority of the market, they are keen to keep their core values, team mentality and delivery focused culture and are looking for a Senior Business Analyst that has the following skills and attributes:

Key Attributes:

  • Problem solving. The client is looking for a self-starter, someone who can pick up a task and run with the project with minimal guidance.
  • Team Focus. After chatting with the hiring manager and comparing the company culture to previous roles, the team are next level. Collaboration and a collective mindset is how they approach projects and they are proud of the culture they have been fostering over recent years. As such, they are looking for like-minded individuals to join the team as they sale operations over the coming years.
  • Stakeholder management expertise is essential

Key Skills:

  • In depth requirements gathering and reporting expertise (As-is, to-be, gap analysis)
  • Previous experience running workshops, including follow-up actions and documentation
  • Introducing best practices and creating documentation and guides for implementation
  • Prior Functional Test experience would be a bonus, assisting the test team on defining scope and methodologies and regular status reports.
  • If you have previously introduced frameworks and best practices in line with governance and business readiness for the wider PMO team to work from, I am very keen to have a chat with you!

Any additional skills future employees can bring to the table would also be a welcome addition to the short list of candidates. We have had previous success with this particular client previously and introducing Technical Analyst/ Systems Analyst candidates with a varied background.
