Evolve IT’s award-winning financial services client who are continuing to lead the way in technology within the pension and investments sector, are now looking for an experienced Quality Analyst Engineer to join their team. This role will be based within the Glasgow or Edinburgh offices and will be a hybrid working model.
As a Quality Analyst Engineer, you will play a pivotal role within the development of digital technology solutions with the preliminary emphasis on the design and implementation of applications related to the business requirements. This role is ideal for someone with a strong enthusiasm for enhancing the team's test automation capabilities.
The ideal candidate:
I am looking to speak with tech enthusiasts who thrive in building out Test Automation capabilities, following Test Driven Development and Business Driven Development principles. You are likely to be an advocate for best practice within functional testing arenas and enjoy collaborating with colleagues around implementing best practice frameworks. Above all, you will have a genuine interest and passion about all things IT and automation across the Microsoft stack and keen to work with likeminded individuals. Responsibilities:
- You will create and deploy automated testing frameworks across various programming environments and software platforms, with a primary emphasis on .NET.
- Test preparation: develop project schedules, documentation, and assessments with a focus on quality assurance.
- You will preserve quality of running code in production such as continuous testing, monitoring Azure resources, non-functional testing etc.
- API Test Automation experience.
- Familiarity with testing approaches suitable for data-intensive and extensive batch processing workloads.
- You will be proficient in agile methodologies
- You will have experience with testing tools, ideally Microsoft Test Manager, Azure DevOps, SQL Server Management Studio, SpecFlow, Protractor and Selenium.
- You will be a collaborative individual with the ability to work well on your own when required, eager to learn and enhance your current skill set, whilst sharing your previous experience and knowledge with colleagues when working on solutions.
