Evolve IT are excited to collaborate with a financial services client who is expanding, and we are recruiting a Principal/Lead .NET Developer to join their innovative team in Edinburgh/Glasgow permanently. The company is determined to provide innovative technical solutions that effectively support their clients' employees.

The successful Principal/Lead Developer will join a cross-functional Agile team, working across a range of software projects in the finance space. You will be part of a team driven to provide market-leading technical solutions to their customers and clients. With an exciting technical road map, you will have the chance to work on a range of projects, including innovative greenfield sites and adding functionality to existing software platforms.

You will be given the opportunity to share your knowledge and experience with the wider Development Team as well as mentor and support Junior Developers. There will also be frequent get-togethers with the wider Development team to share your love of Software Development.

The successful Principal/Lead Developer will have the following technical skills and experience:

  • A proven track record working with the Microsoft Development stack, including .NET, C# and Azure DevOps. 
  • The ability to create considered designs.
  • Be part of the full Software Development Lifecycle.
  • An in-depth technical knowledge, where you can support the wider development team and encourage technical growth across the wider team.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Contribute to the discussion around project planning, specification and estimations.

This will be a 3-stage interview process, the successful candidate will be invited to an initial call to find out more about the role and company. The 2nd stage would include a take-home technical assessment and the final stage will comprise of a technical discussion and competency-based questions.
