IT Support Analyst - Central Belt

Introduction

Evolve IT’s award-winning alcoholic drinks client is looking to bring a friendly and keen IT support analyst into their team on a permanent basis. Based in the Central Belt of Scotland, this role would suit an ambitious all-rounder who has excellent communication skills and is keen to assist in the growth of our client who runs operations throughout Scotland.

About the Role

The successful IT support analyst will join a highly knowledgeable team based in West Edinburgh with other sites located throughout Scotland which will require regular travel as most of your time will be spent on-site. Your role will involve supporting various departments such as sales, marketing, shipping, supply chain, finance and HR and requires solid technical knowledge whilst having a proactive approach, being able to take your own initiative when solving problems such as recording incidents, documenting solutions, undertaking root cause analysis, installing new equipment, maintaining comms cabinets and dealing with front-line IT queries and problems.

You will be a professional with proven technical capability and excellent customer service who will provide internal stakeholders with high quality IT support and ensure the day-to-day maintenance of the IT systems. The role also provides an excellent learning opportunity as the client is keen to train you to expand your skillset.

About You

The successful IT support analyst will have the following technical skills and experience:

  • Highly competent with Microsoft OS and Office 365 including Teams, OneDrive, Azure AD, Exchange, Office and SharePoint.
  • Having a HNC or equivalent qualification in IT would be an advantage as would any equivalent commercial experience.
  • Technical experience in active directory, networking using VLANs and firewalls, troubleshooting printers and scanners and AVAYA or other telephone systems.
  • Experience in Tropos ERP systems would be desirable.
  • Possess a full UK driving licence.
