HR Project Manager  –  (contract)

Evolve-IT are currently recruiting for an experienced HR Project Manager to join a prominent Edinburgh based asset management firm who have brilliant culture and are working with the latest and greatest technologies on the market. The 12-month contract will be a hybrid-based vacancy and we are looking to speak to candidates who can commute to their head office in Edinburgh.

Your responsibilities:

  • You will  run the planning, scoping and commencement of HR projects and programmes, whilst successfully managing the delivery of the project team and resources to provide on time and to anticipated quality in line with the scope.
  • Deliver status reporting to feed into wider programme office reporting and adhoc reporting as requested.
  • Lead change control within projects noticing any differences on scope and time.
  • Work alongside colleagues to ensure activity is joined up throughout the department
  • Provide knowledge to identify change and communication approaches to landing the change in the suitable way for all impacted stakeholder groups.
  • Measure accomplishment of project delivery through facilitation of retrospectives and lessons learned session.
  • Oversee the relationship and delivery of third parties and other teams out with HR in the project.
  • Work closely with the Head of Service Delivery and other project managers to bring consciousness and faith in project and change management tools and techniques
  • Oversee key stakeholder relationships as recognized in the stakeholder mapping and analysis for the project.
  • Recognize and oversee risks, concerns, assessments and dependences using the department project governance for any escalations.

Skills / Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in managing the full cycle of both project and programme management within HR.
  • Experience and insight of working with HR processes and policies.
  • Strong methodology knowledge, with the ability to employ several methodologies to provide projects on time.
  • A strong understanding of change management tools and techniques
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Accurate planning – capability to apply project logic and rationality to project plans.

In return our client is offering a daily rate of up to £450 depending on experience.
