Head of Transformation (initial 18-Month FTC)
A rare opportunity to join a highly successful, scaling financial services technology business that has been disrupting and reshaping its market for over 20 years. Its flagship product revolutionised the sector and today is used by approximately 25% of the industry. Continued growth, multiple product lines and an expanding service portfolio have created the need for a senior transformation leader to help take the technology function to the next stage of its evolution.
The technology team has delivered exceptional results as a small, agile and highly capable group. As the business continues to grow, the focus now shifts towards establishing scalable operating models, embedding governance and service disciplines, introducing standard operating procedures, and creating the structure needed to support future growth without compromising quality or delivery standards.
This role will lead that transformation across service management, operations, testing, governance and wider technology functions.
We're seeking an experienced transformation leader with a proven track record of driving change within complex, highly regulated environments, it's vital you have significant financial services exposure. You'll bring experience of scaling technology teams, introducing best-practice operating models, influencing senior stakeholders and balancing pace with pragmatism. This is an opportunity to leave a lasting legacy within a market-leading business entering its next phase of growth.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience leading technology transformation within financial services or another highly regulated environment.
- Ability to influence, challenge and build credibility with C-suite executives and Senior Leadership Teams.
- Strong experience establishing operating models, governance frameworks, service management disciplines and standard operating procedures.
- Comfortable working at pace while bringing structure, consistency and accountability to a growing technology function.
- 18-month fixed-term contract, focused on embedding sustainable change and creating the foundations for long-term scale. Following completion, the intention is to appoint a permanent Service Delivery Lead to continue the journey and own the ongoing service improvement agenda.
