Our client is a leading organization within the world of leisure and engages and supports activities to ensure sport thrives on a global scale.
The purpose of this role will be collecting, organizing, analysing, interpreting, and reporting data you will develop process improvements by analysing existing processes to identify opportunities for automation and streamlining.
In addition, you will be part of a team working on a global initiative to help improve fairness and modernize the leisure industry. This role offers someone the opportunity add to their proven experience to take the next step in their analytical career.
The key responsibilities for this role are;
- Manage, develop, and maintain the research database the ensure smooth reproduction of analysis.
- Develop consistent data structures to ensure smooth reproduction of analysis.
- Produce data reports and present to internal and external stakeholders.
- Working closely with the data manager to support subject matter experts in their use of data.
The ideal candidate will have;
- A degree in mathematics/physics/statistics or a related discipline or equivalent proven work experience.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as, Python, R or MATLAB with the expertise to use it data analysis.
- Commercial experience working with SQL.
- Experience applying statistics to real world issues.
