Business Analyst – 6 Month Inside IR35 - £300-£350/Day (Gross Pay)

Our client, a very well-known and highly respected Client, is currently looking to add an experienced Business Analyst to their Application Development Department. My client has won numerous external awards for the services and invests heavily in both their staff and technology.
 

The Role:

Working as part of the Application Development team, you will be focussing on Corporate Applications and Regulations processes and the systems they use.  You should be comfortable with and possess an in-depth understanding of the full software development process from requirements analysis through to collaborating with UX designers, etc to enable the delivery of applications.

 

The Skills:

Ideally, you will Have Significant experience in a Business Analyst Role and working on bespoke applications or packaged software development projects. Working in an Agile environment familiarity of Scrum is preferred. Experience in facilitating workshops and working in Investment Management is desirable.

Responsibilities:

  • Use analysis techniques to gain a solid understanding of business processes and associated problems or opportunities for improvement
  • Elicit high-level requirements from user groups
  • Work collaboratively with the technical delivery team including technical leads/architects and UX/UI Designers to find solutions to meet requirements
  • Document clear user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Facilitate system testing, including assisting with test script review and acting as the first point of contact during execution
  • Maintain focus throughout the life of the project on delivering business value and meeting the business requirements
  • Facilitate effective communication between all project team members
  • Share knowledge of BA techniques with other staff within the department
  • Leading analysis if required on larger business plan projects
